Mr. Grego has more than 18 years of tax experience in federal and state and local tax controversy, tax planning, M&A transactions, and business structuring, and he has a successful record with tax controversy matters before federal and state administrative forums.

Mr. Grego’s diverse experience includes working with international companies in M&A deal tax planning, due diligence, and integration, assisting start-up companies with entity selection and formation, minimizing the tax liability for estates, corporations, and individuals, negotiating and closing debt instruments, and negotiating and drafting corporate documents.

Mr. Grego has IRS and State and Local tax controversy experience which includes both large and small issues for corporations and individuals, with the taxes covered including income, franchise, sales and use, excise, and property tax. He has worked on controversy issues from the initial audit stage through collections, and he has a successful record in defending the tax issues of his clients.
